Marcus Taylor, President of Heritage Developments, has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has presided over the building of 150+ homes throughout his career.
He brings that same experience and knowledge to your project. As a fourth-generation builder, he traces its roots all the way back to pre-World War 2 England, where his great-grandfather was a builder in Yorkshire in the north of England.
His father and grandfather subsequently started a construction business in West London, with his father eventually moving to Dallas-Fort Worth to build a business with Marcus.
Along the way, they developed values that they’ve passed on from one generation to the next, values that Heritage Developments applies to every project we undertake.

With over 30 years of construction experience in Dallas, President Marcus Taylor has built a huge variety of new homes, from ultra-modern to ultra-traditional and everything in between.
Mr. Taylor’s remodeling and historical preservation work has also been a well-documented constant, ranging from early 1910s Dallas originals through detailed historical renovations to updating more contemporary homes to suit the needs of the 21st-century client.
Mr. Taylor has built and remodeled homes in many of Dallas’ most dynamic neighborhoods, including the Park Cities, Bluffview, Devonshire, Preston Hollow, Lakewood, and Oak Cliff.
